Sex trafficking is something that needs to end in our cities and all around the world.  It is a bigger problem than most people know about, so take some time to educate yourself about local and global problems and educate someone you know...it is going to take an army to end this!  Check out this video from Love146, one of many organizations fighting against this:

Books into dresses...

I am talking with a writer about making a wedding dress incorporating pages from some of her favorite books...the idea is so intriguing to me that I can't stop thinking about it :)  Here is a funky photo of a dress made from a phone book. Maybe this is what we can do with all the phone books that continue to be delivered to our house even though we ask them to stop...

remember...

There are so many memories I have from the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001... mostly now when I think back to those, I remember feeling very small.  I get wrapped up in my life and what is going on here and sometimes forget about all the pain others are going through.  Today I am thankful for my husband and my kids, our families and our friends...we couldn't ask for a better life, so I also am praying for those who are in a less fortunate situation than us.  I don't know what pain everyone is feeling, but I pray that God will heal their wounds.
